Acquired Brain Injury(ABI):
Handz-on, Inc provides services to individuals with Acquired/Traumatic Brain
Injury(ABI/TBI). Our goal is to ensure these individuals live comfortable, normal, fulfilling lives as any other member of the society in a supportive, independent living arrangement.
Our caregivers work hand in hand with other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care tailored to each individual’s needs to provide teaching strategies, prompting and re-directive measures to foster independence as much as possible both at home and in the community. Services under the ABI/TBI program includes:
- Independent Living Skill Training -(ILST)
- Recovery Assistant
- Personal Care Assistance (PCA)
- Supported Employment Services
- Support and planning coach
- Companion
- Homemaker
- Chore Services
